A.H.M. Furniture Repair offers complete furniture restoration, repair and some refinishing services in the Lake George / Saratoga Springs, NY area. If you need your wooden furniture cleaned to bring out the natural luster or stripped of old paint and then refinished, we can help. Our technicians do all the work by hand, paying attention to detail. We can refinish part or all of a piece, matching the color, finish, and sheen. Furniture repairs are made from either a similar wood or a state-of-the-art epoxy. We have hundreds of color combinations to match any color wood stain or paint. Wood grains are recreated to blend the repairs into the surrounding areas. Water and fire damage Engineer appropriate procedure for re-enforcing broken legs and arms on damaged furniture. At this time we are not taking items that need refinishing, hand cane, rush or splint replacement. We will still accept pre-woven cane seat or back replacements. On site appointments are available most days, including evenings and weekends and are FREE in the Glens Falls area, except for moving and insurance claims*. Outside the Lake George / Saratoga Springs area, fees are dependent on time and distance. The fee maybe included if the site is within 30 miles and work is scheduled. *Insurance and moving claim estimates are time consuming and fees are based on the number of items to inspect and the time prepare the estimate.
