A nice older stand with years of abuse.
The only repair was a badly dented corner with some wood missing.

Stripping, sanding to remove some stubborn stains on the shelves and it was ready to stain and tone to the desired color. Toning is applying color to the surface of wood. This is useful to make hard woods that won't accept stain achieve the desired color.
This stand was finished with a satin Urethane-Lacquer finish so the customer could use it as plant stand.
Urethane-Lacquer is better suited for heavy items that contain moisture.
