A rotted seat, loose joints and worn finish made for a nice restoration.
First the cane seat is removed, then the chair was completely disassembled and all the joints cleaned of old glue.

After reassembly the new seat is installed and allowed to dry.

The owner wanted no stain, but we used a golden Lacquer-Urethane to highlight the grain. |
