We started with a sketch of the basic frame shape and found readily available moldings to glue up. This helped keep the cost down and gave the owner a real feel as to what it would look like when completed.
The moldings were attached to some heavy poplar wood for a rigid and thick frame with minimal weight and lots of strength.
